Nowadays, most of my frens are using so call modern ( I think modern no more, should be common) hand phone which compiles camera, mp3, 3G, MMS, internet access and what so ever..i dun know, together. But I am still using Nokia 8850 that do not have the function of taking photo, listening to music etc..even the ring tone also not the harmonic type...it's like ring ...ring...., du.. du.. type. This afternoon, lunch time, a colleague of mine, asking me purposely, with motive to sarcastic ( of cause he is just joking),
" Evelyn, can I see what's the photos in your camera?"
I knew he is joking, so I said " okok, go ahead".
Another girl standing beside heard that, she also kepo together.." see see, I also wanna see".
Just right after that, she found out my hand phone actually has no photos...because it cant take photo!
Should I change handphone already? Why?
Because it is not up to date?
Because it useless?
Because it cant take photos?
Because it is ugly?
Well,
it is not up to date,
it cant take photography nor listening to the mp3 or sending MMS,
it's outlook is quite ugly as I din change a new 'skin' for it.
BUT, it is a HANDPHONE.
It rang when there's incoming call,
it can call out as long as there's enough battery,
can send sms....so it carry out her job very well.
SO, "she" is not useless...for what reason, I should reject her? I dunno....
Maybe one day, when I desperately needed to take photos all the time,
When I have lots of extra money....
definately, there will be a reason,
why 'she' is not suitable to be a handphone anymore....

I used to think like how you think about HP.I don't even have a handphone when I was a student. Camera? not important. I don't like to take photo ever since I started working. MP3? ya it's kind of fancy but so long as there's the tone to tell me about incoming call etc then that's good enough. This is how I think even though after I bought a phone w MP3, camera, speaker etc all in. I discover the magic it can do for me when I bring it to my Sabah trip. Wow the under utilised phone suddenly become a magic to me. I managed to capture the moment immediately. Frequent update of MP3 make life more enjoyable. Video function enables me to capture the music fountain with my fav songs. n there's more!! It is simply a phone that has more to offer.
So, try change 1 and start to enjoy.. Afterall, we work hard to secure a good life for ourselves. Enjoy the moment, and reward yourself :)
it took me 1 yr of consideration (or procastination??) to buy myself a new hp with the latest features (without 3G though). well, no rush as long as you don't feel the urge to buy a new one!!!
I wanna make some correction..it's not 8850, it's 8250 only arr....
