Today I went to a broiler farm...in somewhere near Bahao..about 3 and a half hours drive from my office. this is my first time on field to a poultry farm..so excited !!! Hehehe.
Reaching the farm...quite a new farm,the primary complain was pasty vent ( wet feces stick at the anus) and slow growth of the chicken. I caught one chicken with pasty vent, and try to estimate the weight...aiya..maybe long time din go to market liao, cannot estimate how heavy was the chicken..So I asked the farmer, " ada 2 kg tak?" Then he laugh..."takda lah..kalau 2 kg bagus lo"..As I said this is my very first time to the poultry farm..plus ...long time din practice liao ..so a bit kelam kabut in history taking loh..I agak agak ask about management, see see the feces , see see chicken got panting or not...
After that I did post mortem on two chicken...I dare not kill the chicken ( actually not dare not lah, scare i got no energy to do vertebrae dislocation, then the chicken wouldnt die...i will be very malu lohh) so I asked the farmer to kill loh. to sAlamak...the lesion very very similar to subclinical Gumboro..(Breast petechial hemorrhage, swollen kidney, swollen bursa etc)..What to say? Cannot so confirm and tell the farmer wor......So I agak agak tell him loh..I think he also agak agak understand lah...
Then we reach the pharmacy of the farm..Wah lau...at least got 15 drugs in it..He told me he put this lah, that lah....all antibiotics...until i open my eye big big (very funny), I asked him " u put all this every time?' ...Then he 'err' here and there..then tell me not every time, he apply during disease only. Then only I relieve a bit.hahaha.
After finishing sembang...( my sales rep very pandai sembang..sampai help the nepal to kira his salary....) I drove back serdang. And from serdang to TTDI the trafic was so jam because of raining. I was caught int he jam for 1 and half hour...now my leg stilll kejang..:(
